The 2005 BGP Photo Contest Ends Tonight!

Hurry!!! Get all your bathroom graffiti photo entries in tonight by midnight EST in order to enter the 2005 BGP Photo Contest. And don't forget to vote for your favorite images over the next two weeks. The BGP Photo Contest Judges will select three contest winners from the pool of the top 50 highest ranked images that YOU the viewers rate. So help us pick the finalists between now and January 15th, when we name the top 3 bathroom graffiti images of 2005.

The BGP Judging Panel will be selecting winners based on several criteria but image quality, graffiti quality, and creativity all count. We'll also be looking at how well the image represents the Bathroom Graffiti Project philosophy as described in the BGP Manifesto and the artistic quality of the photograph.

If you miss the 2005 Photo Contest, don't fret. 2006 is nearly here, and we will be announcing several brand new contests for 2006 with lots of prizes and interesting themes. BGP Sniper Team Update

Just a quick update to keep you all in the loop on all of the happenings related to the Bathroom Graffiti Project.

Since officially launching the www.GraffitiProject.com about 8 weeks ago (and thanks to your help) we already have over 300 images of all types of bathroom graffiti from various cities, towns, and other nooks and crannies from nearly 10 countries.

We have also added new functionality to the beta Web site and we'd love your feedback. Most notably, we added the graffiti rating system AND the viewer COMMENTS tool so you can share feedback, graffiti barbs, and other non-sense right underneath each image. Don't be shy…just start posting your comments.

In other BGP news…

BGP PHOTO CONTEST
The BGP PHOTO CONTEST for 2005 ends in about 3 weeks (December 31 to be exact), so get all of your best shots uploaded before the end of the year. We're giving away prizes and first place is $250 cash. We'll feature the winner on the site after we announce the winner in mid-January.

STICKERS AND STENCILS
We are taking submissions for cool new sticker and stencil designs that we can give away as free downloads to help promote the Project and get more people involved around the world. If you would like to design the sticker, or have a stencil you'd like to share, we'd love to offer it for download on the site. Email us at info@graffitiproject.com to help out.

DO YOU WANT FREE STICKERS?
If you want a bunch of free BGP stickers to post in bathrooms everywhere, shoot me an email with your address. We are getting a bunch printed up and will have them ready in about two weeks.

OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP
As you know from the Manifesto on the site, this is a collaborative project about free expression. We need your help to really get it going. Our goal is to have thousands of great bathroom graffiti pictures, and at least one image from every country in the world. Yes, even those places you have never heard of.

Here are a few ways you can help the project take off:

Open Call For Bathroom Graffiti Project Sticker Designs

The Bathroom Graffiti Project is in search of a really cool sticker design so we can promote the project in bathrooms everywhere. Submit your best design ideas and we will feature it on the site, make it available for free download, and print up a few thousand of them to post in bathrooms everywhere.
